Za razliku od drugih modela, ovaj reaktor \u0107e biti u vlasni\u0161tvu dr\u017eave, \u0161to garantuje direktnu kontrolu nad cenom struje i stabilno\u0161\u0107u mre\u017ee. Sporazum otvara vrata kompaniji Vestinghaus (reaktor AP1000) da zameni dosada\u0161nju dominaciju ruskih tehnologija u slova\u010dkom elektroenergetskom sistemu. Premijer Fico je naglasio da je ovo \u201ejasan signal zajedni\u010dkog strate\u0161kog razmi\u0161ljanja o budu\u0107nosti bezbednosti i odr\u017eivosti\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paralelno sa objavljivanjem napretka u izgradnji reaktora velikog kapaciteta, objavljeni su rezultati studije \u201eProject Phoenix\u201d koja je potvrdila da su \u010detiri lokacije u Slova\u010dkoj idealne za postavljanje malih modularnih reaktora (SMR). Posebno je zna\u010dajna lokacija US Steel Ko\u0161ice gde se nuklearna energija ne planira samo za mre\u017eu, ve\u0107 kao direktna zamena za ugalj u te\u0161koj industriji. Fokus programa je na prekvalifikaciji radne snage iz sektora uglja u nuklearni sektor.
