Klju\u010dna prednost je autonomija plovidbe &#8211; zahvaljuju\u0107i nuklearnom pogonu ovi brodovi mogu raditi do sedam godina bez dopune goriva. Ledolomac je opremljen nuklearnim postrojenjem nove generacije RITM-200, koje je projektovano u konstruktorskom birou &#8220;OKBM Afrikantov&#8221;, koji je specijalizovan za proizvodnju nuklearnih brodskih pogonskih grupa. A pogonska grupa ima izuzetno veliku snagu: 60 megavata mehani\u010dke energije i omogu\u0107avaju\u0107i probijanje leda debljine do 3 metra. Pored toga, primenjena su i neka inovativna re\u0161enja koja ranije nisu kori\u0161\u0107ena na brodovima sa nuklearnim postrojenjima, uklju\u010duju\u0107i sistem elektropogona naizmeni\u010dne struje sa asinhronim propulzionim motorima.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nuklearnaperspektiva.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1ddb4082-45a6-4efc-9297-445123d5f9a2-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Veteran bitke za Staljingrad,  Pavel Vinokurov. Foto: Rosatom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A Rusija je jedina zemlja na svetu koja poseduje nuklearnu ledoloma\u010dku flotu. Flota trenutno broji osam aktivnih ledolomaca, uklju\u010duju\u0107i \u010detiri nove jedinice Projekta 22220: &#8220;Arktika&#8221;, &#8220;Sibir&#8221;, &#8220;Ural&#8221; i &#8220;Jakutija&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Izgradnja novih ledolomaca je klju\u010dna za odr\u017eivi razvoj plovidbe Severnim morskim putem, koji je najkra\u0107a pomorska ruta izme\u0111u zapadnog dela Evroazije i Azijsko-pacifi\u010dkog regiona.
