Postrojenje, koje \u0107e izgraditi lokalna energetska kompanija Energy Northwest, bi\u0107e locirano u blizini Ri\u010dlanda u saveznoj dr\u017eavi Va\u0161ington<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"193\" src=\"https:\/\/nuklearnaperspektiva.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Amazon_PNG6.png\" alt=\"Foto: Wikimedia\" class=\"wp-image-1092\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nuklearnaperspektiva.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Amazon_PNG6.png 640w, https:\/\/nuklearnaperspektiva.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Amazon_PNG6-300x90.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Foto: Wikimedia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cilj projekta je da obezbedi 960 megavata \u010diste elektri\u010dne energije za rastu\u0107e potrebe digitalnog sveta, uklju\u010duju\u0107i napajanje platformi ve\u0161ta\u010dke inteligencije (AI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon je istakao da \u0107e modularna priroda elektrane omogu\u0107iti da tri sekcije snage po 320 megavata zajedno obezbede ukunu svagu od 960 megavata na prostoru veli\u010dine nekoliko gradskih blokova \u0161to bi, prema tvrdnjama bilo manje od prostora koji zauzima velika nuklearna elektrana velikog kapaciteta.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Za projekat \u0107e biti kori\u0161\u0107eni reaktori Xe-100, napredni dizajn koji razvija kompanija X-energy, koja je pro\u0161le godine dobila 500 miliona dolara u finansiranju od Amazona. Svaki modul Xe-100 obezbe\u0111uje 80 megavata elektri\u010dne energije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prva faza projekta <em>Cascade Advanced Energy Facility<\/em> obuhvati\u0107e razvoj \u010detiri SMR-a ukupnog inicijalnog kapaciteta 320 megavata, uz mogu\u0107nost pro\u0161irenja na ukupno 12 jedinica. \u0160to se ti\u010de rokova, po\u010detak izgradnje se o\u010dekuje krajem ove decenije, dok je pu\u0161tanje u komercijalni rad planirano za 2030-e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon i X-energy su, u strate\u0161kom potezu, u avgustu potpisali sporazum sa ju\u017enokorejskim gigantima Korea Hydro &amp; Nuclear Power (KHNP) i Doosan Enerbility kako bi ubrzali implementaciju Xe-100 reaktora u SAD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cilj ovog partnerstva je da se podr\u017ee planovi Amazona i X-energy za raspore\u0111ivanje vi\u0161e od pet gigavata novih nuklearnih kapaciteta \u0161irom SAD do 2039. godine, kao i istra\u017eivanje mogu\u0107nosti kori\u0161\u0107enja ovog modela na globalnom nivou.
