Foto: Nuclear Regulatry Commision, Flickr<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovo je <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/ne\/articles\/testing-starts-first-higher-enriched-fuel-us-commercial-reactor\">prvi<\/a> put da \u0107e gorivo oboga\u0107eno preko 5 procenata biti ozra\u010deno u komercijalnom reaktoru u SAD. Usled bolje neutronske ekonomije, ovakvi vi\u0161i nivoi oboga\u0107enja bi trebalo da omogu\u0107e da gorivo u reaktoru du\u017ee traje, odnosno da se produ\u017ei vreme izme\u0111u dva rifjulovanja i da reaktori rade na ne\u0161to uve\u0107anim nivoima snage &#8211; a to potencijalno mo\u017ee dovesti do pouzdanije proizvodnje energije u nuklearnim elektranama \u0161irom zemlje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovo napredno gorivo je razvijeno kroz Program za gorivo otporno na akcidente Ministarstva energetike SAD (DOE) kako bi se pobolj\u0161ala bezbednost gorivnog ciklusa i smanjili operativni tro\u0161kovi. Kompanija Southern Nuclear je nedavno utovarila \u010detiri olovna test sklopa koja sadr\u017ee gorivne pelete ADOPT kompanije Westinghouse Electric Company u reaktor Vogl 2 u Vejnsboru u D\u017eord\u017eiji.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Novo gorivo je oboga\u0107eno do 6 procenata uranijuma-235 \u2013 uobi\u010dajeno oboga\u0107enje je od 3 do 5%, osim u posebnim reaktorima, kao \u0161to je na primer CANDU, koji za rad koriste neoboga\u0107eni uranijum &#8211; koji je glavni fisioni izotop koji proizvodi energiju tokom lan\u010dane reakcije&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gorivo sa ve\u0107im oboga\u0107enjem moglo bi pomo\u0107i u produ\u017eenju radnih ciklusa sa 18 na 24 meseca, omogu\u0107iti ve\u0107u izlaznu snagu i dovesti do ukupno manje otpada tokom \u017eivotnog veka reaktora. Pelete, koje tako\u0111e sadr\u017ee aditive za koje se o\u010dekuje da pobolj\u0161aju bezbednosne performanse, dobijene su od praha uranijumovog oksida sa ve\u0107im oboga\u0107enjem koji je prvobitno pripremila Nacionalna laboratorija u Ajdahu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gorivo \u0107e biti ispitano nakon svakog gorivnog ciklusa, a opse\u017eniji pregled \u0107e se izvr\u0161iti nakon \u0161to gorivo zavr\u0161i testiranje kako bi se podr\u017eala budu\u0107a komercijalizacija i primena u Sjedinjenim Dr\u017eavama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">S.A.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kompanija Southern Nuclear je nedavno utovarila novo, oboga\u0107enije nuklearno gorivo u komercijalni reaktor radi testiranja zra\u010denjem.
