U pitanju su GE-Hitachi, Holtec, Rolls-Royce SMR i Westinghouse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prvobitni cilj je bio da proces selekcije bude okon\u010dan ove godine, ali je u prvom bud\u017eetu Vlade rada od kada je stupila na du\u017enost u julu pisalo da \u0107e &#8220;kona\u010dne odluke biti donete na prole\u0107e&#8221;. Great British Nuclear (GBN), nezavisno telo koje vodi ovaj proces, dodalo je da je poslalo poziv za pregovore za \u010detiri kompanije, nakon \u010dega \u0107e biti pozvane da podnesu kona\u010dne ponude, koje \u0107e GBN potom proceniti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sizevell C<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ali pored malih modularnih reaktora, postoje i ambiciozni ciljevi za nova postrojenja velikog kapaciteta jer plan Velike Britanije je pove\u0107anje nuklearnih kapaciteta na 24 gigavata do 2050. Prvi projekat u ovom segmentu je u izgradnji: Hinkli Point C (Hinkley Point C), a identi\u010dna se reaktorska jedinica planira u Sizvel-u (Sizevell C).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovaj projekat predvodi francuski EDF i u okviru njega plan je da se u Sizevell C instaliraju dva reaktora EPR dizajna (European Pressurized-Water Reactor) snage ukupno 3,2 gigavata \u0161to je dovoljno da napaja oko \u0161est miliona domova tokom najmanje 60 godina.
